The Cleveland Cavaliers just squeezed by the Indiana Pacers in game 7 on Sunday April 29, 2018. Lebron James was determined to win this game. He had 45 points, 9 rebounds, 7 assists, and 4 steals in a breakout performance to pull the Cavaliers past the Pacers 105-101. The Cleveland Browns selected the Heisman winner from Oklahoma , Baker Mayfield . There was talk leading up to the draft that they knew weeks before the draft that they were going to select Mayfield with the number pick. Some people thought the Browns were going to take Saquon Barkley with the first pick, but that did not happen. The Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher Nick Kingham had a great debut. He took a perfect game into the seventh inning against the St. Louis Cardinals .    Kingham retired 20 straight batters, an expansion-era record for a pitcher in his first game, in the Pirates’ 5-0 win. Nick Kingham Highlights

The Pittsburgh Penguins start the second round of the NHL playoffs tonight as they will face the Washington Capitals .  Evgeni Malkin and Carl Hagelin will both be out game 1. The game will start at 7 p.m.

The    Pittsburgh      Pirates  have lost the last 2 games against the  Colorado Rockies . They lost 0-2 on Tuesday April 17, 2018. We should all look for the Pirates to bounce back and get back on the winning path. 

Cleveland Cavilers The  Cleveland Cavilers  lose first game of the 7 game series against the  Indiana Pacers  98-80. First loss for  Lebron James  in first round since 2012! Game 2 will  be played on Wednesday April 18 in  Quicken Loans Arena . James lead game 1 for the Cavs with 24 points. Victor Oladipo was the Pacers lead scorer with 32 points.

2018 NHL Playoffs  The  Pittsburgh Penguins  roll through game 1 vs the  Philadelphia Flyers  7-0 to take a 1-0 lead in their seven game series.  Matt Murray  had 24 saves for his third straight shutout in the playoffs. The next game will be Friday night at 7 p.m. in Pittsburgh at  PPG Paints Arena . 

Jameson Taillon gives up only one hit and strikes out seven in his first career shutout. Dozier got the Twins on the board with a solo shot in the third. The Pirates were the last undefeated team in the MLB . The Pirates were out played yesterday. The Pirates will start a three game stretch tonight against the Cincinnati Reds at PNC park. Steven Brault will get the start tonight for the Pirates.

2018 Men's NCAA Basketball Championship Game!! The day that everyone has been waiting for since the tournament started. The big game! The championship game. The Wildcats are favored to beat Michigan by seven points. It is going to be a hard fought game by both teams. Villanova's leading scorer for the season is Jalen Brunson with 19.2 points per game.
